The role
Terkos Haulage is seeking 2 x Experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team in Bunbury, WA. As a MC driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods to and from our distribution centre. This is a pivotal role in supporting our logistics operations and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate various heavy vehicle configurations including semi-trailers and road trains
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Load and unload freight in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and Terkos Haulage policies
- Carting of grain, lime, Fertiliser, some up north work
What we're looking for
- Current MC driver's licence
- Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles in a commercial road transport environment
- Strong knowledge of road rules, vehicle maintenance and load restraint procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Immediate start for the right candidate
- Road ranger experience
- Willing to work away
- Overnight allowance
- Hourly rate depending on experience
