Truck Driver Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced truck driver to join our operations team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, including retail stores and wholesale clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Prime Movers to transport goods within Western Australia.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • Ensure consignment is secure to prevent damage.
  • Deliver goods on time to retail stores and wholesale clients.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
  • Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid class MC – Multi Combination driver's license.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a truck driver.
  • Experience with refrigerated trailers and handling perishable goods.
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
  • A clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Willingness to undergo alcohol and drug testing as required.
