About the Role:

WorkPac is currently in search of a Production Supervisor to join our esteemed client's team based in Welshpool. This position is based on a Monday to Friday roster, full time hours with overtime available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a workshop team of 15–20 personnel.
  • Coordinate daily ceramic production to meet schedules and quality targets.
  • Review and interpret production drawings to guide workshop staff.
  • Carry out fabrication, MIG/TIG welding, and repairs as required.
  • Operate hand tools, grinders, cutting torches, and machinery safely.
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance on welded structures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Metal Fabricator.
  • 5+ years' experience in fabrication, welding, or industrial workshop settings.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong numeracy and literacy.
