About the role

SEC2 Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Accounts professional to join our team in Malvern, Victoria on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, credit control, assisting with job and technician scheduling and playing a key part in the overall financial operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing accounts receivable, including invoicing, managing payments and resolving client queries

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounts and transactions

  • Analyzing and reporting on aged debts and credit control

  • Job and technician scheduling via the Simpro job management system

  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the efficiency of credit control procedures

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and the ability to liaise effectively with clients

  • Proficient in using accounting software Xero and the Simpro Job Management System advantageous

  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
