Your New Role
As a Valuations Analyst, Property in our Private Markets team at Aware Super, you will play a key role in supporting the independent valuation process for a diverse and growing property portfolio. You'll be responsible for engaging and managing external valuers, critically reviewing valuation inputs and assumptions, and ensuring compliance with both local and international standards.
This role offers the opportunity to prepare and present valuation papers and reports to senior executives and boards, contribute to unit pricing and financial reporting, and provide technical expertise across a variety of property-related matters.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across investments, operations, and external partners, making a direct impact on the fund's performance and governance.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong valuation experience in large property or accounting firms who is looking to broaden their expertise and influence in a high-performing, purpose-driven environment.
What you'll do:
- Manage the engagement of external valuers, critically review valuation inputs and assumptions, and ensure compliance with local and international standards
- Prepare and present valuation papers and board reports to senior stakeholders
- Support unit pricing, financial reporting, and fund accounting tasks
- Conduct market research and sales analysis across diverse property asset classes-locally, nationally, and internationally
- Mentor others, contribute to risk and compliance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement in valuation governance

You will have:
- 2-4 years experience in a valuation firm, large accounting firm,or institutional/corporate investing organisation
- Strong technical expertise in valuation principles and methodologies across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for innovation, accountability, and delivering customer-centric solutions.
