The opportunity

As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in partnering with business stakeholders to understand their unique needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement system-driven solutions that boost efficiency, automate processes, and support strategic outcomes.

This is a Term Contract position until June 2026, with possibility of extension. Salary from $99,044.09 up to $116,251.58 per annum, plus superannuation. Dependent on operational requirements, this role may include applicants to work flexible hours.

How you'll make a difference

As a trusted partner to internal teams, you'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing the TechnologyOne ERP system by identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining business processes. This role will also see you:

  • Collaborate and advise by gathering and analysing requirements, translating them into practical system solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Maintain and enhance system controls, including managing user access, configuring security profiles, setting up financial delegations, and ensuring robust audit reporting.
  • Champion system functionality by promoting new features, driving user adoption, and advocating for continuous improvement. You'll estimate effort, design and implement configurations, and manage integrations, workflows, and reporting solutions.
  • Lead system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions through rigorous testing, stakeholder communication, and user acceptance processes. Provide responsive application support to minimise disruption.
  • Drive continuous improvement by challenging outdated processes, identifying gaps, and ensuring all solutions comply with organisational policies and standards.
  • Prioritise and resolve incidents, leading investigations and implementing corrective actions to ensure timely, effective outcomes and minimal business impact.

About you

You bring a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Systems or Information Technology, and / or extensive hands-on industry experience. With a proven track record of partnering with business units, you excel at aligning system capabilities with operational needs to deliver meaningful improvements.

Your expertise spans the support, configuration, and development of ERP systems-including micro-systems-where you've consistently driven efficiency and innovation. Technically adept, you have advanced proficiency in Excel, BI analytics tools, ETL processes, and SQL, enabling you to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Your broad understanding of corporate functions such as Finance, HR, Payroll, Records Management, and IT allows you to navigate complex organisational environments with ease. Coupled with strong communication and negotiation skills, you're confident engaging stakeholders at all levels to influence outcomes and foster collaboration.
