Overview

Senior Business Analyst - Cyber Security

12 Months Contract, Wollongong Hybrid Role. Immediate start to support the Cyber Security Program. Possible conversion to full-time after the program. Current rate: $970/day including super. Role is hybrid with 2 days on site and 3 days from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement
  • Gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements
  • Conducting current state, future state and gap analysis, and process mapping
  • Supporting solution design, testing, and validation against business requirements
  • Contributing to project planning, activity coordination, and process improvement initiatives
  • Participating in and documenting penetration testing exercises
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior business/systems analyst role on ICT projects implementing technical solutions
  • Strong background in requirements development, business process re-engineering, and business systems specification
  • Experience with project management, testing, QA, and system deployment methodologies
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across a diverse project team and SME stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders, including managing challenging stakeholder relationships
  • Experience working with vendors and external partners
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience/training)
Desirable
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies
  • Experience within the Australian higher education sector
