About The Opportunity
iContracting are seeking to appoint an experienced Mining Engineer to join our high performing Load and Haul Operations. You will play a key role with strong focus on operational planning, scheduling, and continual productivity improvement, ensuring the fleet meets production targets safely and efficiently. The role emphasizes practical application using advanced analytical skills to monitor and improve KPIs daily.

  • 8/6 Roster FIFO

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational planning & scheduling, develop and optimise schedules
  • KPI monitoring & productivity improvement, analysing data
  • Fleet and resource oversight monitoring equipment performance
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure fleet availability aligns
  • Health, safety, environmental compliance, risk and mitigation
  • Reporting & communication with actionable recommendations for efficiency

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in load and haul mining operations preferably in a contractor environment with fleet experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and data analysis)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, results-oriented mindset
  • Experience in operational planning, scheduling, and KPI monitoring in mining operations
