About the role

We are seeking highly skilled engineers to join the Zone Assets team in Canberra. Opportunities are available for both Senior Protection Engineer and Secondary Systems Design Engineer. Candidates should bring strong technical expertise, Australian work experience, and a collaborative mindset. Flexible working arrangements are available, however, successful applicants will be expected to attend the office at least 3 days per week.

Tasks & Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality engineering solutions in protection or secondary systems design

* Support Principal Engineers in project planning and delivery

* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within Zone Assets

* Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety, and regulatory requirements

* Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

* Degree in Engineering (essential)

* Minimum 2+ years' professional experience in Australia

* Strong knowledge of 12d software and Leica equipment highly desirable

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
