We're on the lookout for a motivated Cook / Kitchen Hand to join our vibrant team at Coppins Café, perched right on the iconic Sorrento Ocean Beach. If you love good food, a fun team, and a fast-paced environment with a view, this is the perfect role for you

About the Role:

At Coppins Café, there's never a dull moment. You'll be part of a close-knit crew that thrives on teamwork and good vibes while serving up fresh, simple, and delicious meals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking meals from our basic but crowd-pleasing menu
  • Food prep and assisting in the smooth running of the kitchen
  • Operating the fryer and hot plate with confidence (experience highly regarded)
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Bringing your creative flair to suggest improvements and new ideas for our menu
  • Following instructions and working well with the team to keep everything running smoothly

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a kitchen (cooking or as a kitchen hand) – but willing to train the right person
  • Someone who can work under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Reliability and flexibility – weekends and school holidays are our busiest times
  • A team player who loves being part of a fun, supportive work environment
