About the role
Reporting to the National Learning and Development Manager, this role is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing engaging, learner-centric educational programs. As an expert facilitator, this role delivers development and training activities, ensuring the success of participants across all organisational roles and experience tiers. Through the onboarding of new franchisees, executing comprehensive staff induction, and facilitating sustained learning journeys, this role is critical to building operational capability and confidence across both our corporate office and broader restaurant network.
Key Activities Include:
Facilitation and Presentation
- Deliver structured onboarding programs for new franchisees, as well as induction sessions for new staff, both virtually and in-person.
- Adapt to diverse Learners and tailor delivery style and content to suit varied learning needs, cultural backgrounds, and operational contexts.
- Manage logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue setup, and technology support.
- Host & MC Events including internal learning events, workshops, and community sessions to energise and connect participants.
Content Design and Development
- Create visual, impactful and engaging PowerPoint presentations and learning materials, including presentations, handouts, and digital resources, including navigation videos that reinforce key concepts and drive retention.
- Work closely with L&D, operations, and franchise support teams to align learning outcomes with business goals.
- Champion technology in educational programs and leverage digital tools and systems to enhance learning delivery, track engagement, and support operational readiness.
Continuous Improvement Activities
- Monitor learner progress, gather feedback, and continuously evaluate and improve program content and delivery methods.
- Stay current with trends in adult education and instructional design to ensure delivery of best practice education programs.
About You
Essential
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Proven facilitation and presentation experience delivering both virtual and classroom-based training
- Previous experience in creating inclusive, engaging learning environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Powerpoint, Zoom, and other virtual facilitation platforms with a focus on visual storytelling and instructional clarity.
- A passion for cultivating capability through impactful learning and development initiatives.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in adult education and/or certifications in facilitation, coaching, or eLearning design
- Experience in frontline staff training for Retail, QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), FMCG or similar industries.
- Familiarity with business systems such as Tanda (time & attendance), Salesforce (CRM), Concur (expense management), Inventory management systems.
