GP Liaison Clinician

About the Role:

Western Health is seeking a senior clinician to lead the GP Liaison function within Community Mental Health.

This role works at the interface between primary care and specialist mental health, providing advanced assessment, short-term intervention and clinical advice for GP-referred consumers, while supporting shared care and coordinated pathways.

You will Bring:

• Senior clinical experience in public mental health
• Strong capability managing complex presentations
• Experience working closely with GPs and external providers
• Sound understanding of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women's prison located in Ravenhall.
