About the Role:
Food Services Assistants are responsible for the distribution and collection of all our customers menus, food and beverages.
To be successful, you will have a mandatory safe food handling & current knowledge of storage, cooking and serving requirements within the healthcare industry.
We have positions available, on a casual basis.
Weekend and Morning shifts as required.
Duties will include, but not limited to:

Ensure all cutlery, crockery and condiments are presented according to the menu needs

Ensure all meals are presented in appropriate proportions, of the correct temperature and according to the menu requests of the customer

Involvement in the preparation of special dietary needs for patients as directed by the hospital Dietician/ Food Services Manager

Liaise with patients and relatives and report outcomes or needs to the Manager of the department or your direct line manager/ supervisor
About you:
The successful candidate will have effective communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and excellent time management skills.
Current Food Handlers Certificate required. Experience in food preparation in the healthcare industry would be advantageous
