The Opportunity

Air Mechanical is seeking two experienced HVAC sheet metal Supervisor & sheet metal Installer to join our team in Sydney, NSW. In this casual role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of HVAC sheet metal installers and technicians
  • Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial and industrial HVAC systems
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to guide the installation process
  • Ensure work is completed to safety and quality standards
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and inventory of equipment and materials
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in a HVAC sheet metal supervisory role and 3 years of experience in a HVAC sheet metal installation role
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as HVAC-specific equipment
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
