Our teams a enjoy a dynamic work environment which can vary day to day, working hours are typically 6.30am-3pm:

  • Residential Work
  • Local government area works
  • Property maintenance work on large commercial premises

About the role

We are currently seeking candidates to perform a range of Ground Crew duties. Working within one of our teams, you will be reliable, highly motivated and organised.

Responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

  • Ground rigging and rope work
  • Truck Driving
  • Stump Grinding
  • Chainsaw Operation

Your ability to learn tasks quickly, be proactive and assertive and have professional approach will be the key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain plant and equipment and adhere to company compliance
  • Perform general tree work such as pruning and removing trees in an array of different scenarios to AS4373
  • Complete work programs to company requirements
  • Manage and implement WH&S systems on site and implement safe work practices
  • Operate required technology
  • Perform work in a safe and controlled manner
  • Be punctual and reliable in your attendance

Skills and experience

  • Industry experience
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Drivers License (open/manual)
  • Own, reliable transport
  • Level 2 or 3 in arboriculture (preferred)
  • Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • A focused & well organised approach to achieve high quality standards
  • MR License (preferred)
  • First aid certificate (desirable)
  • Power line Awareness Ticket (desirable)
  • Police Clearance (desirable)
  • EWP ticket (desirable)

Candidates must be able to provide copies of relevant certificates. This position would suit individuals with a positive attitude and a high work ethic, who demonstrate professionalism and take pride in their company and their trade.
