About the role
Little Superstars Early Learning Centre in Blaxland (close to Penrith) is seeking a passionate and experienced Childcare Educator to join our dedicated team. This full-time role will involve providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
What you'll be doing
- Implementing engaging and age-appropriate educational programs to support children's development
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Building positive relationships with children and their families
- Observing and documenting children's progress and development
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Centre's practices and policies
- Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations and standards
Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of early childhood education experience.
What we're looking for
- Completion of a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (ECT)
- Candidates currently studying Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care will be considered for this position
- Previous experience working in a childcare or early learning environment
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check
