Crystal Brook Hospital

Crystal Brook and District Hospital provide a range of essential health services to the community, operating 24/7 accident and emergency care and a variety of medical, surgical, and support services. Key offerings include:

Hospital Services:

• General medical and surgical care, including specialties like plastics surgery.
• Aged care assessment and aged residential care.
• Day therapy centres and delivered meals (Meals on Wheels).
• Inpatient and outpatient services, along with patient transport.
• Obstetrics and palliative care.
• Parenting and family support/education.
• Personal care for older persons, including planned activity groups and respite care.
• Same day stays for patients needing short-term care.

Maternity/Obstetrics:

• A birthing suite and shared care arrangements with General Practitioners and midwifery group practice midwives to support women

• Registered Nurse: Permanent P/T, 1.27 FTE (Various positions)
• Enrolled Nurse: Temporary P/T, 0.84 FTE (32 hours per week) until 13 February 2026
• Assistant in Nursing: Permanent P/T, 0.21 FTE (8 hours per week)
