About the Opportunity

As our Senior Consultant, specialising in Planning & Scheduling, you'll be based full-time onsite in Perth, working collaboratively with both client and TBH teams on the delivery of complex construction and infrastructure programs. In this senior technical role, you'll bring your deep scheduling expertise to lead the development, integration, and ongoing management of project schedules—from first principles based on construction drawings through to project completion. You'll apply strong industry knowledge to validate third-party schedules, mitigate project delays through active stakeholder engagement, and prepare quality planning documentation that drives project certainty. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings a strong commitment to quality, mentorship and project success.

You'll work closely with both TBH colleagues and client-side teams to lead the development of detailed construction schedules, from interpreting design documentation through to progress tracking and reporting. With a strong emphasis on technical execution, you'll take ownership of schedule integration, resequencing activities, and validation of third-party inputs—ensuring all plans remain aligned with project objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work across complex, multi-staged programs while applying and refining your expertise in cost and resource-loaded scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and schedule quality assurance.

As our Senior Consultant you'll be responsible for;

  • Leading the implementation of project schedules and plans, with client objectives and project milestones
  • Developing strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders by communicating clearly, professionally, and consistently to enhance collaboration and project outcomes
  • Providing mentorship and on-the-job guidance to junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing project team environment
  • Reviewing, interpreting and analysing data from multiple sources, and tailoring reporting outputs to inform project leadership and stakeholder decision-making
  • Managing the end-to-end preparation of client-facing deliverables—including detailed analysis, technical reports and presentation material—ensuring readiness to respond to client queries
  • Preparing, maintaining, and analysing complex schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6, supported by clear reporting outputs tailored to stakeholder needs
  • Applying industry best practice planning and scheduling methodologies to identify and address project risks, constraints and opportunities
  • Identifying and implementing project controls best practices to overcome planning challenges and improve delivery outcomes
  • Supporting knowledge sharing and capability uplift through technical workshops with senior team members and contribution to client training sessions where required
  • Seeking and championing continuous improvement and process innovation across planning and scheduling activities to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensuring all outputs meet the highest standards of accuracy, quality and consistency, and incorporating feedback and quality checks as part of standard delivery practice

What you'll bring

As our successful candidate you'll bring:

  • 5+ years' relevant experience in planning and scheduling role(s).
  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture or equivalent
  • Demonstrated understanding of planning, scheduling and programming principles
