The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Architect to join our growing team.
This role has been created to support Jeckra's current influx of acquisitions, the successful applicant will immediately engage in new projects in early planning and assist with feasibility models to present to stakeholders.
You'll lead projects from concept to delivery, collaborating with the Jeckra team, our key partners and consultants. Collaborations with the project team is paramount, especially with the operations team sharing the bespoke office space.
The ideal candidate will bring full lifecycle project experience, be autonomous, driven, detail-oriented, and have a clear understanding of program, timing, and project constraints.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from concept and feasibility through to construction and completion.
- Engage early in the planning, design, and feasibility stages of new acquisitions.
- Provide and coordinate architectural documentation from concept to developed design, tender & construction
- Manage and coordinate consultants.
- Oversee program management, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with operations, construction, and finance partners to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Maintain excellence in architectural detailing and design integrity.
- Assist in building key templates alongside Jeckra and its partner brands
Skills and Experience
- Registration as an Architect
- 6+ years' post-graduate experience is expected but not necessary, provided you demonstrate proven project leadership.
- Experience in childcare, mixed use and community focused developments is a bonus.
- Experience across all project phases — from feasibility through to completion.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent understanding of program management and commercial delivery.
- Passion for design with strong knowledge of architectural detailing and buildability.
- Strong communication skills and coordination skills.
