Livestock Hand

Wambo feedlot, an expanding 16,000 SCU feedlot operation located 35 km's west of Dalby, is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated person to join our Stock Handling team.

We are seeking experienced stockpersons with demonstrated abilities in livestock handling

Your main responsibilities at the Feedlot will be:

• Livestock handling – inducting, drafting, and cattle dispatch, Moving cattle from pen to pen on foot.

• Quality assurance and accurate record keeping

• Contributing to other areas of the feedlot as required

The successful applicant will need to have experience in the following:

• Experience in cattle handling
• Low stress stock handling techniques
• An understanding of animal health and welfare
• Effective teamwork skills
• Experience in HGP application
• Current drivers' licence
