We are hiring

We're looking for a Customer Service & Sales Assistant to join our busy plasterboard and building supplies team.

This role starts as Casual but will progress to full-time for the right candidate.

You'll be the first point of contact for many of our trade customers — from local plasterers to large construction companies — so strong communication skills and product knowledge are essential.(Training Provided)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve trade customers at the counter and over the phone
  • Provide product advice and assist with order selection
  • Respond to email enquiries and prepare quotes
  • Accurately measure and interpret product requirements
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team for order pickups and deliveries
  • Maintain a professional, tidy, and organised sales counter and showroom
  • Build long-term relationships with our loyal trade clients

About You:

  • Experience in the building or plasterboard trade industry is preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Clear spoken and written English
  • Confident using a tape measure and reading basic specifications
  • Basic computer and email skills
  • Reliable, well-presented, and able to work independently
  • Available to work Casual initially (Monday–Friday), with flexibility to increase to full-time
