Responsibilities of this role

  • Execute unplanned repairs and maintenance on a large mining fleet and ancillary gear
  • Machine maintenance, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, fault diagnostics
  • Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
  • Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
  • Be committed to adhering to and promoting a strong safety culture

Requirements for this role include

  • Trade qualified as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent with post-trade experience in the mining industry
  • OEM or experience with field services on large mining equipment and ancillary gear
  • Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or we can assist you to obtain)
  • Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Queensland driver licence
