About the role
Our Home Health Registered Nurses are key members of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team, responsible for delivering evidence-based, person-centred nursing care to support customers in their own homes. This hybrid role will support you to work at your full scope of practice, providing quality care across a variety of work settings and caseloads.
To provide flexibility to suit your lifestyle and career goals, we are currently offering both full-time and part-timepositions across 7 Days, within our Wollongong teamwho support the Hospital In The Home program.
The role will encompass completing in-home clinical assessments and provision of treatment in the management of acute and chronic conditions, such as:
- Managing medication including IV antibiotics via PICCs
- Complex wound care, including NPWT
- Surgical drain tube management
- Urinary catheter insertion and management

About You
- Excellent communication and time management skills with proven ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated experience working in an acute, sub-acute and/or community-based environment working with a diverse customer group.
- Recent acute hospital experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with others to coordinate the delivery of care to customers
- Demonstrated current practice knowledge and minimum 12 months experience in delivering care to customers receiving IVAB via PICC lines, complex wound care including NPWT, and surgical drain tube management
- Working knowledge of various funding streams
- Current driver's license and registered, insured roadworthy vehicle
- Unrestricted registration as a Registered nurse with AHPRA
