Canteen is dedicated to supporting young people and their families affected by cancer. Founded by young cancer patients, our mission is to provide essential programs, services, and resources that positively impact the lives of 12-25 year-olds facing their own diagnosis, dealing with a close family member's cancer, or grieving the loss of a loved one. We believe in the transformative power of our team, and together, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
We are now seeking a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our dynamic Corporate Partnerships team, helping to grow and support partnerships that generate vital funding and awareness for Canteen's work. We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and is passionate about creating life-changing opportunities for young people impacted by cancer. This is an exciting role for an emerging partnerships professional who is ready to contribute immediately while continuing to develop their skills and career.
About our role
- Engage and grow corporate partners and donors – deliver excellent stewardship, communications, and recognition to strengthen relationships.
- Grow and manage Workplace Giving – support the manager in overseeing the $100K+ program, act as the key contact for supporters, and expand participation.
- Deliver partner and donor events – coordinate logistics and stakeholder involvement to create meaningful engagement opportunities.
- Build and maintain pipelines – under the guidance of the manager, research prospects and contribute to cases for support that drive new and stronger partnerships.
- Ensure data accuracy and reporting – manage Salesforce records, donation entry, and revenue reporting to demonstrate impact.
- Manage partnership agreements – track deliverables, oversee benefits and budgets, and ensure obligations are met.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years in a Marketing, Fundraising, Events co-ordination or customer facing role.
- Proactive approach to spotting opportunities and running with them.
- Proven organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships (whether from partnerships, sales, events, or customer service).
- Tech skills and confidence using systems and data (like CRMs, reports, or dashboards) to keep everything running smoothly and show the impact of your work
- Natural team player who brings energy and ideas to the table.
- Purpose-driven, with a compassionate, values-based approach and a desire to make a real impact for young people facing cancer.

- Base Salary + Superannuation + Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging

Due to the nature of Canteen's work, you will be required to (very) occasionally work weekends and evenings. Advance notice and time off in lieu is available by agreement with your manager.
