About the role

Due to ongoing expansion and growth, we have a position available for dynamic and engaging Registered/Clinical Psychologists with an interest in child/adolescent psychology, at our Hornsby site. We are looking for a team member who is ready to make a move into private practice environment in a permanent part-time, full time or contracting role.

Core duties associated with the role will include psychological assessment and treatment services being delivered to children, teens and their families. There is also opportunity to expand your skills into working with adult clients as well. Our clients present with a variety of mental health and developmental issues. We are a passionate, neuroaffirming organisation delivering best practice assessment and therapy services.

As we are a well known provider of high quality developmental and educational assessments there are also opportunities to utilise and develop these skills under the supervision of our highly experienced supervisory team.

Skills and experience

You will possess:

A recognised degree in Psychology,

Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA,

Experience in the psychological assessment and treatment of children and teens,

Ability to work autonomously,

Excellent relationship building skills and customer service skills,

Good written and verbal communication skills,

A compassionate and empathetic approach to assessment and treatment delivery,

Commitment to ongoing professional development.

You MAY possess (non-essential):

AHPRA endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist (or working towards),

Experience in the assessment and support of clients with Autism and developmental disorders,

A desire to develop and promote yourself in a specific area of psychology (e.g. trauma, eating disorders etc),

Be a Board Accredited Supervisor.
