About the Role
Are you a passionate and experienced nursing professional looking to step into a dynamic leadership role? We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to join our supportive team within the Acute & Urgent Care TQEH program. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the Nurse Lead, Nurse Unit Managers and Nurse Consultants to ensure excellence in clinical operations, workforce planning, staff wellbeing, and recruitment. You'll play a key part in shaping and sustaining a positive and safe workplace culture that places patient care and staff support at the centre of everything we do. Whether you're coordinating rostering, supporting professional development, or leading workforce initiatives, your impact will be felt across the entire service.
You'll bring your knowledge and leadership experience to contribute meaningfully to nursing management practices, staff engagement, and human resource processes. With a focus on building a sustainable and skilled workforce, you'll analyse staffing trends, support succession planning, and assist in the implementation of innovative projects and programs to enhance patient outcomes. About You
You are a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for leadership, staff development and improving patient care. You bring a strong clinical foundation alongside excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and you're ready to step into a role that will challenge and inspire you.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven leadership ability with strengths in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and change management.
- Clinical & Managerial Expertise: Minimum 3 years post-registration experience with demonstrated competence in medical nursing and previous management roles.
- Strategic Thinking: Skilled in managing projects, driving innovation, setting priorities, and delivering outcomes within a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare legislation, nursing standards, quality improvement systems, and contemporary professional issues.
