Are you someone who enjoys a good natter over a cuppa and a bit of footy talk? We're looking for a friendly volunteer to visit a lovely older lady in Raymond Terrace for a weekly or fortnightly chat and companionship.

She's a proud South Sydney Rabbitohs supporter, a keen online shopper (especially on Temu), and absolutely adores dachshunds. If you can share a laugh, enjoy a casual conversation, and brighten someone's day just by showing up, you could be the perfect match.

No experience needed — just a kind heart, a listening ear, and a love for making someone smile.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

• National Volunteer Police Check arranged

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
