Connect and build our community through lifelong literacy and learning.

As the third fastest growing local government in WA, our community is changing. Sure there is an increase in number of people who are lucky enough to live, work or play here.  But beyond the numbers, we recognise that how we do things needs to keep pace with community expectations.

We have worked with our community to develop aspirational targets and need your help to make this come true.

About the Role

What's on at the Library? Last year our libraries hosted over 1,000 events for all ages including our annual Writers' Festival and Writing Award

In this role, you'll be at the heart of planning and delivering a broad range of outreach events, including author talks, writing programs, digital literacy, health and wellbeing, and creative skills workshops.

You'll bring passion, energy, and creativity to design and deliver a fun and engaging program of events which enhance the value of the library and meet community lifelong learning needs.

About You

You're someone who:

  • Cares deeply about community connection and lifelong learning.

  • Connects easily with people from all walks of life.

You bring:

  • A sound understanding of library programs, outreach, and service delivery.
  • Strong customer service skills and a collaborative mindset.

What it is Like Working Here

We are a values led organisation guided by our belief that we:

  • Care
  • Are Better, Together
