About the Role

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Asset Performance Melbourne team. This team focuses on work in existing buildings. We seek a highly motivated engineer to be part of our mechanical design solutions and project teams for timely project delivery.

As part of a skilled, technical team you can expect to be exposed to various projects, from smaller investigations to large-scale refurbishment projects. With an emphasis on design excellence, we offer continued development and career growth opportunities.

You will be joining a team of forward-thinking professionals coming from a range of diverse backgrounds and will have the opportunity to work with some of the most influential and talented leaders in the industry

Projects are primarily in the commercial office sector, with opportunities in other sectors such as health and defense.

About You

  • Over 3 years of professional engineering experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle. This includes initial feasibilities, concept design, detailed design, construction, and project handover.
  • Strong experience with HVAC systems, BMS, and controls, especially in high-rise commercial office systems
  • Proven ability to lead projects from concept to delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including written reports
  • A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Experience with other disciplines (electrical, fire, hydraulics) is a plus.
