We currently have an opportunity for a
PIOS
(Problematic Items of Supply)
Analyst
in Melbourne to work on a Materiel Logistics Function project
.
What You'll Do
- Review and remediate Problematic Items of Supply (PIOS) data quality in the Defence ERP system, and analyse the impacts on policy, processes and training with the introduction of SAP S4/HANA
- Support the implementation of recommended solutions to address the policy, procedural and training gaps identified.
- Analysis of PIOS legislation and PIOS policy, processes and procedures across CASG
- Stakeholder engagement, and undertaking a training needs analysis
- Authoring PIOS policies, processes and procedures
What You'll Bring
- Experience in logistics / supply chain training development or delivery, and understanding of Defence's Capability Life Cycle (CLC)
- Strong research, task scoping, planning, scheduling, and risk & issues management skills
- Prior experience using MILIS and SAP would be beneficial but not necessary
- Experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives in a Defence context
- Experience in logistics / supply chain governance, compliance and assurance
Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a
Baseline
or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
