Do you Own and Drive your own 8 to 14 Pallet Medium/Heavy Rigid Tailgate Vehicle or Prime Mover with Trailer? Are you willing to put in the hard yards to make good money?

We are seeking experienced and motivated Owner Drivers to join our team at Josies Transport Group. As an Owner Driver, you will play a vital role in our road transport operations, delivering goods and materials to our valued clients in Metropolitan Melbourne. This contract position offers the opportunity to be your own boss and benefit from the flexibility and independence of being an Owner Driver

  • Position: Owner Driver (Drive your own vehicle)
  • Location: Metropolitan Melbourne, Geelong and surrounding areas. Limited Regional work available
  • Vehicle Requirement: 8 to 14 Pallet Rigid with Tailgate Vehicle (Electric Pallet Jack is an advantage). Prime Mover with Trailer
  • Immediate starts available

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport goods and materials
  • Adhere to road rules and safety regulations
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate delivery records
  • Collaborate with the Josies Transport Group team

Requirements

  • Own and operate your own vehicle.
  • Valid MR/HR Victorian driver's licence to suit your vehicle (where applicable)
  • Experience as an Owner Driver in the road transport industry
  • Minimum 1-2 years of owner driver experience required
  • Knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety regulations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality service
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Tech savvy
  • Proficiency with mobile apps and GPS systems is essential
  • Evidence of legal right to work in Australia (where applicable)
  • Must hold full working rights
