ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Packaging Plant Operators to join our production team on a maximum term contract up until January 2026. Working out of Wiluna, which is a short flight from Perth on a 15/13 lifestyle roster, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery, including robotic equipment, to ensure that our finished products are packed correctly, safely, and to a high standard. You will help maintain production efficiency, support cross‑team collaboration, and uphold safety and quality expectations at all times.

Key responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain packaging machinery, including robotic equipment

· Ensure all packing equipment functions smoothly and efficiently, reporting any equipment faults

· Perform packaging duties to meet production and quality standards. Ensure that bags are correctly filled, sealed, and that the finished product meets all specifications

· Accurately complete production records and documentation

· Prepare packaging components and materials as needed

· Uphold high standards in safety, quality, productivity, and reliability

· Collaborate with the Processing, Lab, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations

· Ensure the packaging line is regularly cleaned and maintained as per Good Manufacturing Practice housekeeping standards.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in the role, you will have:

· Minimum 2 years' experience as a Process Plant Operator or packaging shed experience, ideally in chemical processing (e.g. refineries, nickel, lithium).

· A values‑based mindset, with strong safety awareness in all your actions.

· High attention to detail, especially when it comes to completing documents and complying with internal standards.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work well across teams.

· Capability to troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues as they arise.

· A continuous learning mindset; willing to grow, support, and train other team members.

· Basic computer literacy and data‑entry skills.

· Team‑oriented attitude: you enjoy collaborating with others, sharing knowledge, and helping the overall process succeed.

· Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including 2-way radio usage.

· Technical understanding of equipment and SOPs, with the ability to follow procedures and complete documentation accurately

Qualifications, Tickets & Experience:

· Current "C" Class Western Australian driver's license

· Completion of Certificate III in Process Operations (desirable)

· Working at Heights (HTS) and Confined Spaces (CS) Ticket

· Construction White Card

· Front End Loader, Telehandler and Bobcat Ticket

· Permit To Work, and Isolation and Lock Out Tickets
