About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Crushing & Screening Supervisor to provide day-to-day leadership of fixed plant crushing operations. As an appointed Statutory Supervisor, you'll hold legal responsibility for the health and safety of employees and contractors under your supervision while driving production performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Statutory S26 Duties: Ensure all practicable measures are taken for the safety and health of your team; enforce compliance with the Mines Safety & Inspection Act and site procedures.
• Supervise daily crushing plant operations to achieve production targets and maintain accurate production reporting and diaries.
• Develop shutdown schedules using MS Excel/Project; monitor parts and inventory to minimise downtime.
• Lead SafeStarts, toolbox talks, statutory inspections, and hazard reporting; enforce isolation/tagging procedures.
• Uphold ISO standards (9001, 14001, and contribute to IMS improvements.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring to operators, leading hands, and contractors.
• Maintain rosters, manage fatigue, and ensure all training, induction, and competency requirements are met in Mango.
• Deliver accurate operational updates to the Project Manager; support audits, risk reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adapt the crushing circuit in conjunction with Control Room Operators to optimise process control and output.

About you:

Essential

• Minimum 5 years' hard rock mineral processing experience, with at least 2 years as a Supervisor or leading hand.
• Minimum 2 years experience in mining or quarrying operations.
• RIIRIS402E & BSBWHS414 units and willingness to sit the statutory exam.
• Sound knowledge of crushing & screening operations, maintenance, conveyor systems, wear part monitoring, and lubrication schedules.
• Strong leadership, delegation, and hazard management skills.
• Competent with Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio, and database data entry/analysis.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence and understanding of WHS Acts & Regulations
• Ability to work both days and nights on a 2:1 Roster - 12 hour shifts.
• Australian Working Rights

Desirable:

• Cert IV in Frontline Leadership/Supervision.
• Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S, or other business improvement methods.
• Exposure to planning roles, asset management tools, and resource planning.
