The Role

We are seeking Line Crew Labourers to join projects in the geo-exploration industry. This role is hands-on, outdoors, and involves working across changing environments and terrain. You'll be part of a small, supportive team operating both on foot and in fleet 4WD vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

As a Line Crew Labourer, you'll play an important role in the setup, maintenance, and retrieval of field equipment. Duties include:

  • Laying out, picking up and storing nodal equipment
  • Placing nodes in the ground using a mattock and initialising them
  • Using GPS tablets to identify placement locations
  • Manually handling nodes weighing 1-2kg each (crates up to 10kg)
  • Collecting and dismantling nodes for charging and data harvesting
  • Traversing varied and challenging terrain, both on foot and in 4WD vehicles

Your Skills & Experience

You're safety-conscious, adaptable, and ready for physically demanding outdoor work. To succeed, you'll bring:

  • A current Australian Manual Driver's Licence (Open Class C)
  • Proven experience driving manual vehicles on the left-hand side of the road (minimum 3 months, or ability to demonstrate equivalent competence and confidence)
  • White Card (desirable)
  • Strong physical ability to perform labour-intensive work in hot, remote environments
  • Capacity to repetitively lift up to 25kg
  • Flexibility and willingness to adjust to roster changes
