ABOUT THE ROLE

Your main focus will be to:

  • Provide high-quality training and assessment to apprentices and students on-site, in their workplace
  • Conduct RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) assessments for skilled and experienced individuals
  • Coordinate your own schedule in line with our training cycles
  • Travel throughout the region and/or state as required
  • Occasionally deliver pre-employment programs including Cert 1 in Construction

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Our apprentices look to their Trainers as role models and mentors. To support them, you'll need to be a great communicator who can deliver training in a dynamic, engaging way. You'll enjoy travelling, solving problems, and working with people from diverse backgrounds.

Successful Trainers know that good planning is critical — you'll have strong time management skills and a sharp eye for detail. Bonus points if you have a knack for putting apprentices at ease and nurturing their learning.

You'll empower apprentices to unlock their potential and build the confidence, skills, and knowledge they need to meet the challenges of the industry.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

PLUS one of the following trade qualifications (or higher):

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (preferred)
  • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating

Not yet a qualified Trainer?
