Join our small, dynamic team at
Lockelec Rolling Stock
as a Production & Assembly Technician. We are a close-knit group where everyone plays a vital role. Your
main responsibility
will be the hands-on assembly and production of our products, completing work orders on time and to a high standard of quality.

We are looking for a reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented person who thrives in a collaborative environment and is happy to pitch in wherever needed.

Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assembly & Production:
    You'll be our expert assembler, using a variety of hand and power tools to build our products with precision and care,
    as per engineering drawings and instructions
    .
  • Quality Control:
    You'll perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure every product meets our high standards before it leaves our facility.
  • Timeliness:
    You'll ensure production goals are met by completing work orders on time and to a high-quality standard, keeping the assembly line running efficiently.
  • Housekeeping:
    You are responsible for helping to
    keep the production and warehouse areas tidy and neat
    .
  • General Support:
    As part of a small team, you will occasionally be asked to help with
    warehouse tasks
    such as assisting with inventory and preparing parts.
  • Safety:
    You are responsible for
    following all safety procedures
    at all times.
  • Teamwork:
    You'll collaborate directly with your colleagues, sharing ideas and helping to solve problems to improve our production process.

What We're Looking For

  • Skills & Experience:
    Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly role. Proficiency in using hand and power tools is a must.
  • Documentation Skills:
    The ability to
    accurately read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
    is essential.
  • Attention to Detail:
    A strong commitment to quality and precision in your work.
  • Adaptability:
    The willingness to take on various tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player:
    A positive attitude and strong communication skills to work effectively within a small team.
