Imagine working for a truly regional organisation with 100 employees who share a vision: Thriving Communities Endless Possibilities. We enjoy what we do at Sora. We bring projects to life in the towns and communities in which we work, and we're driven by a set of values and common principles.
Sora Community Services are looking for a Case Worker to be part of the Homelessness Services team in Tamworth.
The successful applicant will be able to work independently and relate to individuals and families with complex needs. This role will focus heavily on early intervention to prevent homelessness. You will work with local Real Estates and Community Housing Providers to identify at risk tenants and then, linking them with additional support services and local housing providers to access tenancy sustainability support programs. This role will also work with people who are homeless to access temporary accommodation, while focusing on securing ongoing permanent accommodation.
All staff are valued and respected and are presented with genuine opportunities to develop to their full potential. Sora recognises the importance of a healthy work/life balance, and you will enjoy some flexibility in your working hours if required.
Remuneration for this role will be paid at an hourly rate of between $37.35 and $46.35 dependent on relevant skills and experience. In addition, salary packaging benefits are available for Sora staff, where you can package up to $15,900 tax- free per annum.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
