About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on and experienced Retail Manager to lead daily operations across our popular dumpling restaurants: Juicy Bao Bao and Authentic Bites Dumpling House. With a strong background in food retail management and a passion for customer experience, you'll take charge of store operations, team supervision, and customer service standards.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in food-focused retail, especially fast-paced Asian-style eateries, who can ensure smooth operations while also contributing to our brand's quality and growth. If you are passionate about food, team leadership, and maintaining high service standards, you'll thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of front-and back-of-house teams, ensuring smooth service flow and staff coordination.

Manage procurement, inventory tracking, and supplier coordination to maintain ingredient freshness and control costs.

Supervise food preparation planning, hygiene practices, and in-store service quality.

Recruit, train, and lead team members to ensure a consistently high level of customer service.

Handle menu pricing, updates, and product recommendations based on customer feedback and market demand.

Support the execution of marketing and promotional activities to boost visibility and drive sales.

Manage rostering and operational reporting, including basic financial reconciliation and performance tracking.

We're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in retail or hospitality management, ideally in a food service or takeaway setting.

Strong knowledge of food hygiene, kitchen operations, and customer service.

Proven ability to manage purchasing, pricing, and stock control in a busy food environment.

Skilled in staff supervision, training, and team development.

Hands-on and detail-oriented, with a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Passionate about Asian food culture and excited to work in a fast-paced, multicultural team.

A certificate in food safety, hygiene, or cooking is a strong advantage.

Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are welcome but not required.
