Your
Opportunity
We are currently seeking applications for I&E Technicians to join our APLNG project team. These roles are fulltime and based onsite on BIBO arrangement from Brisbane working 18 days on 10 days off roster.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be working on the following:

  • Gas gathering wellsites low voltage and instrument pre-commissioning and SAT including:

  • LV, UPS and battery testing

  • Telemetry systems, Wimax, LTE and Fibre optic communications network testing
  • VSD configuration and testing
  • Pre-commissioning and SAT of all site equipment

  • Fault finding and rectification

  • Compliance with Hazardous Area installation standards

  • Willingness to assist Electrical construction team when required
  • Ensuring all required quality documentation is completed on the Clients electronic construction and completions systems (CCMS) including, FICs, ITRs, As-builts reports and punch lists.

Our Minimum Requirements For This Role Are

  • QLD Electrical trade qualification, LV rescue and CPR qualifications (essential)
  • Cert III or IV instrumentation (Cert III highly regarded)
  • Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
  • 5 years + post trade experience on a large-scale Oil & Gas
  • Current QLD Driver's license
  • An understanding and demonstrated commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification
