Assistant Merchandise Planner | KEW | Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for an Assistant Merchandise Planner to join our Apparel Group, working in Kid's and Baby
This is a fixed term contract position for 12 months
As an Assistant Merchandise Planner, you will be responsible for maximizing the achievement of sales, profit, and inventory targets for retail through effective planning, quantification, analysis, and proactive management of financials, Open to Buy and stock allocation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Planner in analysing product performance and identifying trends.
  • Help forecast basics and plan store ranges to meet sales goals.
  • Manage stock levels and store capacity for Bonds stores and outlets.
  • Ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries for stores and online.
  • Track size performance to guide future buys.
  • Prepare data and assist with seasonal reviews and reporting.
  • Coordinate and enter all seasonal retail orders.
  • Assist in managing financial merchandise plans.

What experience do I have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business / marketing / retail.
  • Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the financial parameters and targets of the department.
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Strong Analytical Skillset
  • Computer literacy in MS Office- Excel experience essential
