Disability Support Worker

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Redefine Disability services Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

At Redefine we provide flexible and innovative care that supports our participants to reach their individual goals, make new friends whilst also improving their physical and mental health.

Other duties/responsibilities of Disability Support Workers at Redefine include:

  • Social support/Activities: social activities, sporting activities including hikes, beach visits, gyms and much more fun
  • Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  • Travel: shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required

What you will need:

  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Current and satisfactory Federal Police Check, Yellow Card & Blue Card
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)
  • Smartphone with internet access
