Machinist

We're looking for a full time dedicated Machinist to join our Hallam Operations team. You're multi-skilled individual and will be comfortable working across a number of different tasks & roles to support with peak and off peak periods across our Production and Warehousing teams.

THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITY

You'll join a small team within a medium sized production team based out of our Hallam Operations site. In this role you'll support with the production and machining of products relating to our 'Glass' product portfolio.

In the role you will be:

• Operating our Programmable Mill- CNC Knee Mill

• Operating other machinery such as a lathe and drill presses

• Be responsible for undertaking other tasks involving General Fabrication, Jigs to support Assembly

• Proficent in working with Aluminium and Stainless products

• Ability to multitask to support other areas of production in off peak periods of production

YOUR SKILLS

• 2-3 years experience operating a CNC Mill with basic machine programming skills

• A certificate or trade qualification in metal fabrication

• Ability to produce accurate parts based on technical drawings

• Ability to multi-skill with a can-do attitude

• Proactive approach to Health and Safety

• A desire to learn new tasks and undertake further training if needed

A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening will be required.
