About the role

Happy Sprouts Beveridge is looking for passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team. Your role will be instrumental in providing high-quality care and early education to the children in our Beveridge-based center.

What you'll be doing

  1. Provide nurturing care for children aged 0–5 years, supporting their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development in a child safe and inclusive environment.
  2. Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and promote holistic growth.
  3. Observe, document, and reflect on children's learning and development, using insights to inform and adapt program planning.
  4. Foster strong, respectful relationships with families through open communication and collaborative partnerships.
  5. Maintain a clean, child safe, and well-organized learning environment that supports child safety and children wellbeing and exploration.
  6. Contribute actively to team meetings, continuous improvement initiatives, and participate in professional development opportunities.

What we're looking for

  1. Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently working towards completion of the qualification
  2. Demonstrated experience in an early learning setting, with a strong understanding of child development and care practices
  3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  4. A genuine passion for early childhood education and a deep commitment to nurturing the wellbeing of young children
  5. Confident in working both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
  6. Possess a current First Aid certificate and a valid Working with Children Check (Employee)
