Perth, Western Australia dbf2fddc-aa68-4bc4-8137-ef3ecbf9faf1 Full time $130,000 per year

About the role:

We are partnering with a dynamic and person-centred allied health organisation based in Perth, providing a range of services including psychology, occupational therapy, and positive behaviour support to both private and NDIS-funded clients.

We are seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist who is passionate about delivering evidence-based therapy and supporting individuals to improve their communication and quality of life.

This opportunity offers the chance to step into a senior clinical role where you'll provide high-level speech pathology services, mentor junior clinicians, and contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to making a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced clinical speech-pathology services across caseloads (children and/or adults), including assessment, intervention and outcome-monitoring.
  • Lead and supervise junior speech-pathologists, therapy assistants or students as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (OT, psychology, behaviour support, allied health) to deliver integrated client plans.
  • Support clients in clinic, mobile (home/school/community) or telepractice settings as needed.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and professional documentation for NDIS/other funding streams.
  • Maintain professional membership and continue professional development in line with best practice.

About You

  • Accredited speech-pathologist (Bachelor's or master's in Speech Pathology) and eligible for or holding membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Several years' experience in speech‐pathology practice (ideally including complex or diverse caseloads) and demonstrated competence at an advanced level (clinical leadership, supervision).
  • Passion for evidence-based communication, language, swallowing or alternative communication (AAC) interventions.
  • Strong collaborator – you thrive in multidisciplinary teams and value client-centred practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, adapt to mobile or remote service delivery and embrace innovation/telepractice where required.
  • Experience in NDIS or disability support settings is advantageous.

Why this role?

  • Competitive salary of $130,000 p.a., recognising your clinical expertise and leadership experience.
  • Join a values-driven organisation that puts clients first and supports your professional growth.
  • Lead and mentor within a supportive team while helping shape the speech pathology service.
  • Enjoy variety in your work — clinic, home, school, and telepractice settings — all while making a real difference.
