About the role

Mackay Reef Fish Supplies is seeking two Part-time Administration and Office Support professionals to join our team in Mackay, QLD. The roles available are Stock Controller and Accounts Receivable.

Accounts Receivable

Communicate with Debtors re outstanding monies owed to the company – via telephone, email and letters.

Reconciling of Debtors Accounts and receipting payments into the system

Sending out of monthly statements

Liaise with the solicitors and small claims people for debt collection.

Open Debtor Accounts, check credit references

Reconcile freight and check all is correct

Banking and reconciling

Answering Phone and taking orders for deliveries

Ordering of Stationery

Stock Controller

Process and Balance incoming orders/invoices from suppliers

Cold Storage data upkeep and processing ins/outs

Export documentation.

Process and balance fishermen offloads.

Processing fisherman dockets and creating receipient invoices

Both Positions will also be responsible for

General office duties in filing, invoicing, phone calls and doing all tasks for the smooth running of the office.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar administrative or office support role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and demands
