Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC-30A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.

**Your role**:
Your new role will be integrated within the KC-30A program team as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the platform with the ability to troubleshoot, analyse, and recommending solutions to the Australian Defence Force.

Reporting to the Field Service Lead, some of your key accountabilities will include ensuring expert maintenance and troubleshooting advice on KC-30A airframe, engine, avionics and AAR systems is provided to the RAAF at the Main Operating Base and at other locations (in support of deployed operations). You will also support the Squadron in ensuring aircraft and related support equipment is available whilst maintaining a collaborative working relationship with the Commonwealth and other stakeholders.

To be successful, you will need extensive experience with the **KC-30A/A330** aircraft type.

This role will be based at RAAF Base, Amberley.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
