Casual Enrolled Nurse – The Doctors Mulgrave Road

Now hiring an additional Enrolled Nurse at The Doctors Mulgrave Road Medical Centre.

Rotating roster between 8am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday, 4-5 shifts a week up to 38 hours per week.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Provide the highest level of patient care possible
  • Assisting in all treatment room procedures
  • Triaging patients and prioritising emergency situations
  • Assisting GPs with clinical and surgical procedures
  • Infection control, sterilisation, and immunisations
  • Wound dressing and removal of sutures
  • Performing ECGs and other tests such as spirometry and audiograms
  • Assisting GPs with chronic disease management
  • Health assessments, preparation and review of care plans
  • Coordination, management and maintenance of patient clinical care

The successful candidate must have:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency (No visa sponsorship available)
  • Great time management and multi-tasking ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent computer skills

Desirable:

  • General Practice experience preferred.
  • Experience with Best Practice software is an advantage.
  • Any additional experience and qualifications in immunisations, care plan and health assessments would be favourable.

Remuneration negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
