**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Kitchen Hand to join our welcoming team on a part-time or casual basis.

Key skills include:

- Experience in an Aged Care environment ideal but not essential
- Food handling experience
- Providing assistance to the Cook to prepare and serve meals
- Cleaning and sanitisation of the kitchen and equipment and associated communal areas.
- Adherence to all WHS policies, guidelines and procedures

Handle and use approved chemicals in accordance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and any training provided by Management

**About You**
- Previous kitchenhand experience (1+ year)
- Excellent communication skills with residents and staff
- Completion of minimum training of Food Safety training
- Must be reliable and punctual and able to build relationships with our valued residents.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $23.20 - $25.57 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Flexible hours
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burpengary, QLD 4505: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen Hand: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handling Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
