About the role

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide care and assistance to a 16 year old female with a traumatic brain injury, this care will help her live independently at home with her family.

Duties include but not limited too

  • Personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Assistance with Allied health tasks
  • Manual handling
  • Domestic assistance
  • Documentation and reporting
  • Community access
  • Driving her to and from school in your own car- short distance

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Shift times

  • Monday 6.30am-8.30am, Wednesday 6.45am -8.45am
  • Thursday and Friday 7am-9am
  • Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 9am-4pm
  • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 3.15pm-7.15pm
  • Thursday 1pm-7pm, Friday 3.30pm-7.30pm

Requirements:

  • ​Applicants must have good English speaking skills, be clear and easily understood
  • care experience
  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current driver's licence and your own car (mandatory)
  • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Paid WWCC (Working with Children's​ check) or willing to obtain
  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
