About the Opportunities

The Organisation has opportunities for enthusiastic and reliable staff to join our Electrical compliance testing team, based in Sydney, with occasional intrastate and interstate travel required.

This role will see you providing Compliance Testing services (Test & Tag).

Open to anyone previously employed in any other industry which involves physical labour, for example:

  • Manufacturing
  • Construction
  • Repair & Maintenance
  • Warehousing

Specific duties of the roles on offer are as follows:

  • Electrical safety compliance inspections (Testing and Tagging);
  • RCD circuit safety compliance inspections and Testing;
  • Asset Data Base capture, confirmation and maintenance
  • Asset fault reporting.

Basic Requirements

  • Australian Citizen - Condition Of Employment
  • No Criminal History - Condition Of Employment
  • WorkCover Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills are important as you liaise with clients, customers and onsite staff regularly
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to time manage.
  • Current, driver's licence.
  • Own Reliable vehicle for local work
  • Intermediate Computer Skills
  • Contactable Referees
  • Physically active
  • Testing power outlets & equipment at floor level
  • Testing can involve moving large appliance

Desirable

  • Test & Tag Qualification / Ability to obtain same
  • Previous experience in this or a similar service / compliance testing role
  • A strong commitment to safety and professional behaviour
  • Pride in your professional appearance and work
  • You will also be required to undergo full work clearances including Federal Police Clearance and Home Affairs Security Clearance
